Ronald Keith Churchill

Ronald Keith Churchill, 54, a resident of Seaside, died on November 7, 2001.  He was born in The Dalles, on October 13, 1947 to Delos and Marge Churchill.  He attended school in The Dalles, graduating from The Dalles High School in 1966.  In 1966 he married Laura Frame.  Together they coached and played volleyball.  They formed the Columbia Gorge Volleyball Club in 1962 and organized many events for high school girls and adults.  He also enjoyed hunnting and time spent with friends at a cabin in eastern Oregon.  He worked for United Parcel for 24 years, retiring in September 2000.  At that time, they moved to their home in Seaside, where they had stayed often over the years.  He is survived by his wife, Laura, Seaside; daughters Michon Churchill Hamm and Trista Churchill; son, Steve Churchill; granddaughter Drew Hamm; brothers, Bob Haberman, Darrell Churchill and Larry Churchill, and many nieces and nephews.  At his request, no services will be held.  Hughes-Ransom Mortuary in Seaside is in charge of arrangements.
