Micky Kay Steele Hillard

Micky Kay (Steele) Hillard, 55, a resident of Vancouver, formerly of The Dalles, died May 4, 2004 from complications of liver disease while awaiting a transplant.  She was born August 20, 1948 in The Dalles.  She married Dennis Hillard in 1969.  She graduated from The Dalles High School in 1966.  She was a homemaker.  She moved to Vancouver from Gresham in 2003 and previously had lived in Salem.  Survivors include her husband, Dennis; a daughter, Jodi Barnes; two sons, Wade and Chad Hillard; sisters, Sue Davis Grossmiller, Nancy Pezzeti, Dorothy Hibbler, Joetta Nichols and Helen Miller and seven grandchildren.  A celebration of her life will be from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, May 23, in the Fireside Room at the Civic Auditorium, 323 E.
