William D. Elliott

William D. (Bill) Elliott, 56, a former resident of The Dalles, died at his home in Gresham on Sept. 21, 2004.  He was born April 1, 1948 in Hamilton MT, the first of six children to Lynn L. and Angie Elliott (Sanders) Roberts and grew up in The Dalles.  He graduated from The Dalles High School in 1966 and Oregon College of Education in 1970 and served in the Oregon National Guard for 23 years.  He worked for 33 years for Portland General Electric, most recently as general manager of billing and collection.  Survivors include his wife, Kathy; daughters, Sandi Smith and husband Craig; Susie Kathrens and husband, Chris; step-daughter, Carly Lehr and step-son, Joe Howard; mother Angie Roberts; brothers, Tom and wife Patti; Curtis; Brian and wife Sherryl; sisters, Jenny Clemments and husband Burt; and Jodi Desrochers and husband, Mike; and two grandchildren.  Memorials may be made to Hospice.
